About EuroNanoLab

WHAT IS EURONANOLAB ?

• ENL is a European distributed research infrastructure composed of more than 30 nodes, providing world-class nanofabrication service and expertise to academic or industrial users doing exploratory research.
• EuroNanoLab nodes are composed of cleanrooms that welcome any external users in an open-access mode (without systematic cooperation with a local researcher).  
• EuroNanoLab’s model is inspired by academic cleanroom networks that have already been working for more than 10 years in Europe or USA: 
  MyFab (SW), NorFab (NO), NanoLabNL (NL), Renatech (FR) and NNCI (USA)

EURONANOLAB’s VISION

• Today, no cleanroom can provide a ready-to-use nanofabrication service to the almost infinite range of requests from basic research: long and uncertain process developments are required in most case
• Nanofabrication know-how is composed of a multitude of skills and tips for each particular case. Depending on user requests, some key process steps may often be ready for use in remote European cleanrooms that users are not familiar with
  
• By providing access to a wide range of remote cleanrooms, EuroNanoLab will be able to propose a fast and high quality answer to most of the Nanofabrication requests

EURONANOLAB’s MISSION

• Build a European scale nanofabrication infrastructure able to provide academic/industrial users nanofabricated objects with the highest quality and the fastest delivery time
• Work jointly with large-scale research projects (e.g. Flagships or similar) to accompany the research work by suitable technology developments
